My Working Process

Here you will find my work process behind my various projects. Short films I created and guided through every stage of production. How I developed my initial idea into the final project.

Aberystwyth University Work

When I was studying at Aberystwyth University, I had to document the process behind some of my work. I have now reformatted it below for you to get a glimpse into the journey of my work. How it developed and became the final projects, you can still view on my YouTube channel.

Creative Studio Blog

("Dogville" The Deluded Blind Man)

For the Creative Studio module, I had to make a blog that documented every lesson I had. Giving my reflections on every programme we made each week and preparing for my exam. Where I directed "Dogville" The Deluded Blind Man.

Experimental Media Workbook

(A Keychains Adventure & The Lost Man)

For the Experimental Media Production module, I had to create a workbook that explained the whole process behind my work. Every idea I had, the research I did and how it developed into the final project. This was originally made on a sketch pad but I have now digitised it into a Word document for you to read. Exploring a cheerful film with childlike wonder and a challenging nonlinear film that explores the disjointed landscape of a mind.

Experimental Media Workbook 2

(The Lost Man & Past/Present)

The Experimental Media Production module was split between two semesters. In the 2nd semester, I had to make another workbook detailing the process behind another film. Taking the feedback from the previous one to develop a film that took a higher percentage of my overall grade. So I developed a more linear film that would get me higher marks and be more accessible for the audience. Whilst also exploring a theme I'm invested in which is the relationship between past and present. In hopefully an interesting and engaging way.
