Shipping Forecast Rehearsals

The shipping forecast is broadcast on BBC Radio 4 every day and details the weather in different sea areas. Using this has our stimuli, we explored the thoughts and associations we have when reading the text. We bring this together to create a visual representation of the text rather than a constructed narrative around the text.  Sadly there isn't footage of the final performance but I have some clips of ideas we tried out in rehearsals. We tried many approaches to the text, some were scrapped and others were developed into something else. These clips should give you an idea of the atmosphere we were heading for, ideas we had and developed for our performance.
